A-R Memories…
I don’t remember much from elementary school…although, in one of my first memories here at A-R.H.S., I remember being so nervous my freshman year. I remember wanting to always make a good first impression for my teachers and older students. Farewell… As I reflect on my time here at Apollo-Ridge, all I can say is to enjoy your time here as much as possible…it goes by a lot quicker than you think. That’s one thing that I never really believed when others would say, “High school goes by fast…”

A-R Memories…
My very first memory at A-R is in elementary school. I was the QB for our recess football team. My primary target was Connor Mamros, and my debut stat line in one game was 50-55 with 500 passing yards and 15 touchdowns. Farewell… Apollo-Ridge has been a great place for me to grow and become the person I am today. I have met a lot of life-time friends and great people. I can’t believe that I would’ve ever said this…but I’m going to miss this place. A-R Memories…
During my 8th grade year dodgeball tournament, my team came back in the finals from 1-2 to 3-2 to win, and it was one of the most fun and intense moments, which ended with me catching the ball. Farewell… Apollo was fun, but I can’t wait to leave. I’ll miss the people. A-R Memories…
My favorite memory is when Mr. Lizik talked about what restaurants are the best in our area. Farewell… I hope everyone gets involved in events in high school. You deserve to enjoy yourselves! A-R Memories…
My very first memory at Apollo-Ridge and favorite is when I got my trumpet for the first time. I had such a passion for it and I practiced every day. In the end, the practice paid off because I am now an All-State soloist. Farewell… I’m more than excited for the next steps in life, but the friends I’ve created and the opportunities I’ve been given will be incredibly missed. A-R Memories…
I remember crying for about 15 minutes every day to my teacher because I missed my mom in Kindergarten. I like to think that I am over it…but I am not. Farewell… Apollo-Ridge introduced my favorite sport into my life: Bowling. I hope to continue my career with the team. A-R Memories…
My first memory at A-R would be sharing a locker with someone stinky. Because of that, I threw my bookbag into the locker like a grenade so that I wouldn’t have to smell the stink. Farewell… Make lots of memories in high school; time flies. P.S. Drink milk. Trust me. A-R Memories…
Gavin McCall and I rode the bus together in Kindergarten. One day he said, “Watch this!” He then proceeded to lick the bottom of his shoe. Farewell… What a ride it’s been! I will definitely never forget my time her at A-R, but I am so excited for what the future holds for all of us. A-R Memories…
…Reading constantly in high school Farewell… “Reading is bad for you”--- Don’t let them lie to you. I tried it once and now I buy a book a day and my pets have disowned me! (A-R Points winner) A-R Memories…
One of my very first memories at A-R was having to tie Jerzy Tomajko’s shoes every morning in Mrs. Dunmire’s class because he had no idea how to do it…or he was just too lazy. Farewell… To the underclassmen: Learn to appreciate this place because it has given you memorable experiences and allowed you to meet amazing people and life-long friends. |
